tini400 board sitting on Proto-Board 203
-
Tini is plugged into the network via rj45 connector at top right.
The 1-Wire network interface on this board is the connector just below the network connector.
Power is provided by the Proto-Board built in 5v power supply.
The 9-pin female connector which has a cable (marked TINI) plugged in is a direct PC connection.
TINI can communicate via a telnet session using a basic shell. This is not Linux.
The RTOS contains an embedded Java runtime, and everything fits in 1 megabytes of memory.
The 1-Wire network is NORMALLY sampling outside temperature in Lisbon Falls, Maine.
But it is broken, so for the time being, until I get a new outside sensor fabricated, the temperature is not being sampled.
An Http Server runs on the TINI board and provides intranet service.
An FTP client transfers the temperature data to an external server (stjean.biz) on 5 minute intervals.
